Hi and welcome to Zebulon Ellis Photography.

I’m an award winning and published west coast based photographer. 35mm to large format and full frame, high resolution digital imaging.

My gallery is influenced by my love for the desert and southwestern landscapes. I’m often asked “what’s in the desert” after telling someone I’ve been camping there for a week. Hopefully my photographs will bring to life the beauty and diversity that abounds in these “Barren” lands, fostering respect and admiration for such a prized natural resource.

While most of us have been overwhelmed by the standard but beautiful “take photo here” shots, I strive to bring to life the often overlooked and unseen wonders around me. Some simple but overlooked, while others requiring advanced techniques to bring out the visions I see through my eyes.

While our lives are increasingly hurried as we rush through the day, try and take the time to spend some relaxing moments with me and put yourself “in” the photograph. Feel the sharp cold bite of the morning air as you watch the sun bring in a new day or hear the crackling fire as it bathes your skin in its warm glow and above all enjoy the moment.
