This is one shot in a series taken on the same day. I spent hours waiting on a hill top sometimes in a light rain waiting for just this shot. Rain can be very hard to capture in a photograph yet this shot captures it superbly. Detail in the full size version is amazing. Seating for the Hollywood Bowl can be seen in the lower right corner of the shot.
Catching it raining downtown yet not in the foreground on such a clear day makes this photograph a real jewel.
Probably never to be duplicated again.
